About the Role 

We are expanding our dynamic team and on the lookout for a passionate Behaviour Support Practitioner. In this role, you will create and deliver person-centred, evidence-informed behaviour support plans that align with participants’ NDIS goals. You’ll work with a diverse caseload including children, adolescents, and adults, and collaborate closely with families, carers, and a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to promote sustainable outcomes. 

This is a hybrid role, involving a mix of clinic-based and community-based work. You’ll support clients across various locations throughout Gold Coast, providing flexibility and variety in your day-to-day work environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, implement, and review Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements 

  • Conduct functional assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions 

  • Provide training and support to families, carers, and support teams 

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all standards 

  • Collaborate with a passionate, multi-disciplinary team 

 

About You 

  • NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner Registration (Core, Proficient or Advantage) 

  • Experience in Behaviour Support Plan development and Functional Behaviour Assessments 

  • Knowledge of restrictive practices and Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework 

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a passion for improving lives 

  • Driver's License
