Group Programs

At Allied X, we offer a range of group programs that will make therapy fun for your child!

These programs are designed to support your child to continue working towards their therapy goals during the holidays whilst having lots of fun and making new friends!

Under the guidance of our expert team of therapists, participants will enjoy fun, interactive experiences that foster social interaction, independence, and confidence.

NDIS participants and Private Patients are welcome. 

Our unique group programs are open to everyone. We offer a range of engaging activities that will support your child to continue working towards their therapy goals during the holidays whilst having lots of fun with new friends! Under the guidance of our expert team of therapists, participants will enjoy fun, interactive experiences that foster social interaction, independence, and personal growth.  Our Group Programs will commence on the weeks of:

Unleash your child’s creativity with our Christmas Week Group Programs!

We will be offering different classes leading up to Christmas, to inspire
holiday cheer and spark imagination:

Crafts: Get crafty by designing festive ornaments, cards, and other holiday decorations.
Cooking: Bake delicious Christmas treats like cookies and gingerbread houses.
Social games: Enjoy fun and engaging Christmas-themed games and activities.

July Holiday Programs

This school holidays, we’re running exciting group programs that support your child’s development in a fun and social environment. It’s a great way for kids to connect, play, and grow together. 
Classes are offered at both our Kingsgrove and Wetherill Park clinics.

Little Bunnies Day

When:

For one special day, we’re bringing Easter to life with Little Bunnies Day! Designed to unleash creativity, and promote fun and adventure. This day is all about getting crafty, social, and active, making it a fantastic way for children to celebrate Easter in a fun and engaging environment.

What to Expect:

  • Easter Crafts – Creativity will shine as kids can design their own Easter hats, decorate eggs, craft bunny ears, and more.
  • Easter Cooking – A hands-on experience where kids bake or decorate classic Easter goodies
  • Easter Games – Fun-filled group Easter-themed games and activities
  • Easter Parade (Parents Welcome) – Registrants will show off the Easter hats they decorated in a fun and lively parade to celebrate their creativity.

LegoPlay Fun

GOALS:

Fine Motor Skills, Social Skills

Join our LEGOPlay Fun program—where movement meets creativity! This dynamic group blends sports, teamwork, and imaginative play to support physical fitness, fine motor skills, social interaction, and play development. Kids will jump, balance, and build gross motor skills through interactive challenges, then unleash their creativity with fun LEGO builds alongside friends.

Objectives:

  • Increase play skills, social skills, language skills, cognitive skills, and fine motor skills.
  • Foster a supportive group environment that encourages social interaction, and motivation.
  • Improve gross motor skills including strength, balance, endurance, postural stability and fitness through a variety of physical play.

Culinary Group

GOALS:

Fine motor skills, social skills, executive function skills (e.g. planning, preparing, sequencing, following instructions)

Join us in the kitchen for a fun-filled cooking adventure! Our Young Chefs Culinary Group is the perfect place for budding chefs to explore the joy of cooking through hands-on experiences. From tasty treats to creative culinary activities, this interactive program encourages learning, creativity, and confidence—all in a fun, welcoming environment.

Objectives:

  • Develop and refine fine motor skills essential for cooking activities.
  • Integrate sensory experiences within the cooking process
    to enhance sensory processing skills.
  • Strengthen executive function skills, including planning,
    organisation, and sequencing.
  • Facilitate social engagement and interaction with peers.
    Group cooking activities will provide opportunities for participants to practice social communication, turn-taking, and cooperation, promoting the development of social skills crucial for successful engagement in various life roles.
  • Promote adaptive independence by focusing on kitchen safety and the development of strategies to overcome challenges.

Sensory Explorers

GOALS:

Sensory Integration, Social Skills

Join our Sensory Group, where experienced therapists create a supportive and engaging environment for children to explore, grow, and thrive. Through hands-on activities, we focus on developing sensory processing, attention, and self-regulation—helping your child build confidence in a fun and encouraging setting.

Objectives:

  • Enhance sensory processing through a variety of stimulating activities.
  • Encourage fine motor skills and creativity through messy play.
  • Improve self-regulation and body awareness through yoga and mindfulness.
  • Combine sensory experiences with scientific exploration. 

Little Legends Sport Group

1pm to 2pm, Wetherill Park

GOALS:

Gross motor skills, fitness, social skills

This exclusive group is being run these school holidays
at Wetherill Park!

By joining, your child can:

  • Get active! Engage in a variety of sports and activities
    whilst having fun with friends.
  • Build friendships: Connect with peers in a supportive
    and inclusive environment.
  • Develop Skills: Enhance social skills, motor skills, and self-confidence.

School Readiness (weekly)

4 to 5 years old

Our weekly School Readiness Program prepares pre-kindergarten children
for a smooth transition to school by developing essential skills through
structured activities and play-based learning.

  • Self-care and independence
  • Language and communication
